Rising Stars on the World Stage
The Rising Stars program first competed at the Cheerleading World Championships in 2009, being chosen to attend the ICU World Championship to represent Team UK in the All Girl Premier division, after being long time UKCA National Champions. A late entry also saw the team enter the IASF Cheerleading Worlds, competing against the top gyms from around the globe. The team expected nothing more than a once in a lifetime experience, and that is indeed what they got. At the end of the competition, they came home with three trophies (including a widely sought after globe!), a Bronze medal and two Bronze World Championship titles.
Over a decade on, the Rising Stars program continues to compete at the highest level in cheerleading, the IASF Cheerleading World Championships. We will have sent teams to Orlando, Florida in 6 different divisions; All Girl Level 5, All Girl Level 6, Large Coed Level 5, Small Coed Level 5, Small Coed Level 6 and Senior Open Jazz. We also send teams each year to compete against America's best at the CheerSport National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia.
